The team acquires its first major carry bag customer "Just Jeans".
Growing and Growing
Expanding next door into larger premises twice between 1989 and 1995 reflected the company's success and continuous growth.
Reflecting the departure of Gary Hardeman, the company changed its name to RollsPack Pty Ltd. This new chapter moved Phillip Rolls to undertake a complete review of the business which saw the emergence of state of the art equipment and exciting new products.
Purpose Built Factory
The continued modernisation enabled the company to move into an expansive stage of development and heralded RollsPack relocating into larger, built for purpose premises in Braeside. This move saw the company experience another sizeable growth with domestic and international advancement.
Interstate and International
Following the expansion into the new premises, RollsPack continued to grow at a significant rate. As a result, the company established itself interstate in NSW and overseas in New Zealand.
New Gravure Press and new Division
Purchase of the multimillion dollar Gravure Printing Press allowing the company to compete with international markets and become Australia's leading packaging SME. The company also launched a new division, RollsPack Promotions.
Woodlands Drive Today
The current headquarters for RollsPack located in Braeside, Victoria.
Nominated for "Business of the Year"
Rollspack is nominated for Business of the year in the Melbourne Business Awards, which recognise the achievements of small to medium sized enterprises.
NASAA Organic Certification
RollsPack receives NASAA Organic Certification for our Flexible packaging. For a consumer, the certification of an organic product signifies the integrity of that product.
New Printing Press
Fischer & Krecke Printing Press Installed. Equipped with SMART GPS system, allowing the company to speed up production and meet the challenges of the packaging market.
China Manufacturing Plant
RollsPack opened premises in China to expand our services to the European, American and Chinese markets and help reduce costs for Australian clients.
