You cannot recycle bio-degradable materials and it was found in a USA study that it was considered to be a ?license to litter' as people threw the bag away thinking that it will degrade in time -WRONG.
We believe in reusing, recycling into the families for ongoing use in the plastics food chain ie. Plastic plant holders, Builders Film, railway sleepers, pipes etc.
We are not permitted to use anything but Virgin grade materials in food packaging in order to avoid contamination.
Biodegradable material cannot be recycled as any contents placed in the bag would fall through , material having no strength or resistance due to poor quality, having been recycled from all sources and origins unknown.
There is less energy and raw material used in manufacture of plastic products.
